2. How We Use Your Data
- Store quiz results linked to your WP user account for certificate access.
- Send pass confirmation (optional email via WordPress).
- Prevent duplicate certificates or cheating detection.
- Improve course content based on aggregate pass rates (no personal data).
3. Data Sharing
- No third-party sharing of personal data or quiz results.
- Google receives only authentication requests (standard OAuth flow).
- WordPress hosting provider stores data securely (no access to quiz scores).
- Legal compliance only (subpoena, regulatory audit for PDH records).
4. Data Storage & Security
- Quiz results stored in WordPress database (hashed user IDs).
- SSL encryption for all logins and quiz submissions.
- Regular backups encrypted and stored in USA (Lexington, SC).
- WP user accounts use strong password policies + Google 2FA support.
5. Your Rights
- Access: View your quiz history in WP profile.
- Delete: Contact support@apexpdh.com to remove account + results.
- Export: Download your certificates anytime.
- Data retained 7 years for PDH audit compliance, then auto-deleted.
6. Cookies & Tracking
- Essential cookies only (login session, CSRF protection).
- No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or advertising trackers.
- Browser “Do Not Track” signals respected.
7. Children’s Privacy
Site intended for professional engineers (18+). No collection from children under 13.
8. Changes to Policy
Updates posted here. Major changes emailed to registered users.
